A top 10 global freight forwarder with an amazing reputation in air & ocean freight imports and exports is looking for an experienced Air Import Coordinator to join their import team in Nashville.

Candidates must be experience in airfreight operations, ideally with knowledge of the full import process, but export will be considered as well.

Duties

• Facilitate the smooth and punctual importation of goods via air freight, overseeing customs clearance and delivery to the final destination.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders such as airlines, customs agents, and trucking companies, necessitating adept organizational and communication abilities.
• Liaise with airlines, customs agents, and trucking companies to guarantee the timely delivery of goods.
• Monitor shipments and furnish clients with regular updates as necessary.
• Compile and submit essential documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and other pertinent paperwork.
• Ensure adherence to pertinent regulations and laws, encompassing customs regulations and trade laws.
• Cultivate and maintain customer relationships while delivering outstanding customer service.
