Job Details

MS Technology, Inc. is seeking an early to mid-career level Civil Engineer. The ideal candidate is detailed-oriented and is able to handle multiple projects concurrently. The candidate will be able to continue developing their work knowledge and abilities through application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Consulting with clients, other engineers, architects, vendors, etc., as necessary to determine the most practical and desirable engineering design in keeping with the budget.
• Preparing design criteria for engineering projects and equipment.
• Selecting suitable materials and equipment in accordance with good engineering practices.
• Writing specifications for materials and equipment in a clear, concise manner.
• Preparing detailed engineering designs in accordance with good engineering practice and in compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and restrictions.
• Organizing and scheduling work so as to make the most efficient use of time, resources, and allotted budget.
• Effectively supporting complex civil design projects and can efficiently utilize various company resources to accomplish the intended work.
• Coordinating work with that of other engineers, designers, and team involved in the project.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university required.
• A minimum of 2 years of engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• DOE Q-Clearance
• Proficient with Autodesk Civil 3D
• Proficient with Autodesk CAD
• Proficient with Bentley MicroStation
