Job Summary

  • Assist management in the overall supervision and administration of daily operations in the treatment and rehabilitation of families.
  • Mentor women in recovery through trauma-informed approach.
  • Ensure a safe, quiet, and friendly atmosphere is maintained, house rules are observed, duties and directives are prompt and according to professional standards, and the facility is kept clean and orderly to promote a successful recovery.
  • Propose solutions for daily operations giving specific attention to house job assignments, transportation, participant appointments, telephone answering, treatment functions and rehabilitation coordination.
  • Coordinate with management and participants in record keeping, paperwork, and communication.
  • Provide appropriate involvement in coordination with other staff and participants so that health, safety, and security measures are adhered to.
  • Provide support and supervision to direct reports.
  • Oversee and/or complete assigned administrative tasks in a timely manner.
  • Provide monthly team meetings to direct reports.
  • Provide on-call support according to planned rotation including support for staff in handling client situations and coverage of shifts.
  • Hire, orient, and train new staff. Other duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION:

  • Starting salary for this position is approximately $19.27 /hr based on relevant experience and education.

QUALIFICATIONS - Great Starts Residential Team Leader

Education / Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field required; Training in trauma informed care and treatment interventions preferred; Training in co-occurring disorders, evidence-based trauma treatment strategies, and cultural diversity preferred.

Experience:

  • One-year experience serving women and children preferred.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Physical/Emotional/Social - Skills/Abilities:
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must have excellent communication skills with colleagues and clients.
  • Must be able to build quality and caring relationships with clients where clients feel supported and heard.
  • Must be able to maintain a trauma-informed approach when serving families.
  • Must maintain appropriate boundaries with clients and colleagues.
  • Must be able to manage a flexible schedule and multiple tasks.
  • Must be able to work within a team and find solution-focused responses to programmatic challenges.
  • Must be able to cover residential shifts and holiday shifts as needed.
  • Must have an F endorsement and be able to drive for work-related duties.
  • Must be able to provide coverage of residential shifts as needed.
  • Must be able to work on a computer and within the electronic medical record.
