The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing maintenance and upkeep to the Lost Mine Mountain Coaster, Mini Golf, and facilities.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
• Maintains operational, safety and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Implements all Standard Operating Procedures, including all ride procedures.
• Responsible for the daily maintenance of The Lost Mine Mountain Coaster, Mini Golf, and facilities.
• Enforces ride restrictions and recommendations to ensure safe operation of all attractions.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments for the ride systems.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair other systems including automation, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Maintain operational, safety, productivity, quality, cleanliness, and customer-service standards, and resolve problems as they arise.
• Must adhere to ASTM standards and ride manufacturer guidelines at all times.
• Assumes a leadership role in case of evacuations and/or emergencies such as power outages, inclement weather, and incidents.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to determine required maintenance and service.
• Daily inspection of coaster equipment and operation of mini golf grounds
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment, compliant with all applicable legal codes and regulations and company policies.
• Comply with all Employee Handbook policies and other rules and regulations of Lost Mine Mountain Coaster & Mini Golf
• Document maintenance activities and close out work orders
• Other duties, as assigned.
Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:
• Display positive leadership skills at all times.
• Able to multi-task and maintain composure in pressure situations.
• Able to safely operate hand power tools such as electric drills, saws, grinders, hoists, impact wrenches, etc.
• Able to operate a two-way radio.
• Able to operate heavy equipment preferred (required: pickup truck, UTV, forklift).
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Able to bend, twist, push, pull, stoop and reach.
• Able to properly use a respirator and pass a full-face respirator fit test, if needed
• Able to sit or stand for up to 12 hours; able to traverse and work on hilly terrain for an extended period of time.
• Able to wear personal protection equipment as needed.
• Able to maintain personal hygiene standards.
• Able to get along with coworkers, work cooperatively and resolve conflicts.
• Able to work outdoors in all temperatures and conditions.
• Able to tolerate a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language
• Able and willing to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
