Provide service for existing refractory business at major steel customers' locations. Assist in the maintenance of refractory systems and monitor inventory levels. Plan with both customers and internal support group all upcoming repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assist in the maintenance of refractory systems.
- Participate in tundish installations by tracking materials installed, monitoring tundish deskulling and preparing installation logs.
- Maintain and to ensure the tundish spraying equipment is in good working condition.
- Monitor refractory inventories.
- Actively follow and support established employee safety program.
- Schedule and plan refractory maintenance outages.
- Track refractory performance.
- Monitor refractory performance and report to the team or customer.
- Interact with customers to determine their immediate and long-term refractory requirements.
- Schedule refractory delivery.
