We are currently seeking a Production Scheduler for our Clinton, Tennessee facility.

Key responsibilities
  • Review created batch tickets for raw material availability.
  • Create schedule based on customer request date and plant efficiency.
  • Communicate line priority, late orders, schedule changes, and upcoming constraints to other functional teams.
  • Coordinate maintenance and other downtime activities with facility personnel, minimizing impact to customer.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's or associate Degree or 3 years of process management/industry experience is required.
  • Experience using ERP or manufacturing scheduling systems.
  • Understands concept of color wheel and other strategies to minimize downtime.
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling systems and strategies
  • Experience working with process engineering and technology to identify preferred lines and manufacturing/restrictions for each product type.
  • Collaborate with other functional groups to ensure alignment with corporate goals for scheduling activities and prioritization requests. Ability to balance goals and objectives across functional groups to suggest and execute on optimized solutions.
  • Ability to understand second and third level impacts of changes to schedules on the overall supply chain and corporate metrics.
  • Self-directed and able to be productive and proactive without close supervision. Escalates issues when appropriate.
