As Wenco advances our next generation of technology, we are seeking an independent contractor to fulfill the deliverables of a Sales Manager, Central Asia, based in Kazakhstan.

GENERAL SUMMARY: The Sales Manager, Central Asia will drive revenue generation from a new client base within their designated region. Following Wenco's internal sales process, this person will use their existing industry network of contacts, Wenco's market knowledge, and the regional sales strategy to identify, nurture, and close sales opportunities within their designated region for their identified range of products and services. As an ambassador to Wenco, you perform your deliverables with integrity to ensure the proper solution is recommended to the customer and that Wenco has the ability to best succeed in project implementation and profitability.

Deliver Regional Sales, Profit and Operational Targets

• Ensure best commercial practice is achieved at all times
• Achievement of annual sales targets including revenue and pipeline growth
• Actively develop, support and deliver initiatives to target competitor products
• Collaborate with the broader Wenco business stakeholders to convert a greater proportion of opportunities
• Establish and promote trusting relationships with key internal and external customers
• Establish a planning process linked to the sales CRM and pipeline schedule where accurate forecasts are maintained
• Responsible for building the Wenco brand in the region through the attendance of tradeshows, securing opportunities for co-writing papers, delivering presentations at events, and supporting the Marketing team in identifying media and events to promote the brand

Continuous Improvement to Customer Service

• Promote customer-centric focus, innovation in products, services and ways of interacting with internal customers which add value to the customer and Wenco
• Positively influence the customer perception through effective representation of Wenco and related products in the marketplace
• Treat customers with respect, seek customer insight proactively, build relationships of trust with customers and encourage customer focus among all employees and contractors
• Manage and resolve customer complaints effectively and in a timely manner

Technical Knowledge

• Continually improve self-knowledge of Wenco product and related mining processes
• Gather and communicate market and competitor information
• Learn and adopt the Miller Heiman sales methodology as promoted by Wenco
• Have a clear understanding of how information technology can benefit mines in terms of safety, productivity, maintenance and management.

Experience and Knowledge

• Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in Finance or Mining or equivalent experience in progressive roles.
• 5+ years of experience in a sales position within the mining or mining services industry.
• Must be eligible to work in Kazakhstan
• Ability to travel (Moderate travel required 30% - 50%)
• Demonstrated success in selling high-end solutions within a mining and industrial environment
• Technical background, with experience in engineering, mining, or technology business
• Intermediate-level sales related ERP skills
