Materials Management:
Materials Management employees are responsible for coordinating and managing activities such as customer service, requisitioning, inventory replenishment, shipping, receiving, warehousing, supply distribution, and revenue capture. We often focus on value analysis activities related to standardization and provide supporting information related to supply cost and expense budgeting. We have approximately 25 positions that work various shifts throughout the day. Our employees have the opportunity to interact with all of the departments in the facility and have many advancement options.
Position Summary:
Works under the general supervision of the Manager of Materials Distribution to provide supply distribution services to assigned customers. Uses the Materials Management Information System to accomplish assigned tasks. Performs all duties necessary to ensure that the supply needs of the hospital are met in a timely and high-quality manner.

Minimum Education: None specified; will accept any combination of formal education and/or prior work experience sufficient to demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skill, and ability needed to perform the essential tasks of the job, typically such as would be equivalent to a high school diploma or GED. Preference may be given to individuals possessing a HS diploma or GED.
