Job Details

Patient Access Associate works with the patients to insure and provide courteous service regarding patient check in/out procedures, answering phone calls, and assisting patients in the office. This position is exposed to difficult situations in handling complaints and billing concerns. Data entry must be accurate in the practice management system. Plays a key role in providing exceptional customer service. JOB SPECIFICATIONS Education and/or experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous medical office experience preferred. Previous insurance experience preferred. Knowledge: Good working knowledge of a computer system including the current window programs. Knowledge of insurance carriers preferred. Knowledge of English grammar, spelling and basic math required. Skills: Good customer skills are required. Computers and data entry skills must be above average. Math skills required.
