About Admiral Communities

Admiral Communities is a growing property management company specializing in mobile home parks. We are hiring a Director of Operations to support our growth by working closely with the COO and overseeing daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Leadership & Team Management: Supervise and guide Regional Managers and office staff. Collaborate with the COO on operational goals. Support VAs and administrative staff in workflow optimization.
  2. Operational Oversight: Manage leasing, tenant services, maintenance, and monitor KPIs such as occupancy, rent collection, and property condition. Implement process improvements.
  3. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulations and resolve escalated tenant, vendor, or staff issues professionally.
  4. Financial Management: Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting. Monitor expenses and suggest cost-saving measures.
  5. Strategic Execution: Contribute to strategic initiatives, drive innovation, and implement new tools or systems.

Qualifications

  • College degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years in property management operations, preferably multi-site.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, property management software, and reporting tools.
  • Experience managing capital projects, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Role involves office work, onsite inspections, occasional lifting, and travel. Must be willing to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, and respond to emergencies.

Position Details

  • Type: Full-time, exempt
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extended hours as needed
  • Travel: Regional and occasional other regions

Compensation & Benefits

Salary is competitive and based on experience. Discretionary bonuses may be offered.
