Position Title: Regional Director of Operations

Pay: $130,000 - $140,000

Job Summary

As a Regional Director of Operations (RDO), you will lead, manage, and inspire directors, managers, and supervisors across your region (VA, NC, FL). You will be part of the regional leadership team, providing planning, direction, and guidance to your accounts, while maintaining strong client relationships. Your goal is to meet operational and financial objectives in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead, manage, and motivate a diverse team of Directors, Managers, and Supervisors to deliver top-quality service.
  2. Build strong relationships with clients at all levels, focusing on profitability, safety, and engagement.
  3. Participate in the regional leadership team, sharing industry insights, mitigating risks, championing diversity, and fostering community.
  4. Manage all accounts within your territory, ensuring effective communication with partners and making balanced decisions regarding risks and rewards.
  5. Support the RVP in setting regional cultural standards; conduct regular team meetings to ensure transparency, safety, and accountability.
  6. Represent SSC to senior clients, acting as a brand ambassador and primary contact.
  7. Coordinate with regional teams to ensure smooth sales and retention processes, including presentations and negotiations.
  8. Collaborate with partners on regional initiatives.
  9. Ensure compliance with QA, policies, USDA requirements, and timely reporting.
  10. Promote development through performance evaluations, succession planning, and building multi-unit management skills.
  11. Oversee financial results (P&L) for your territory, ensuring accurate reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
  12. Administer policies and procedures consistently and fairly.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited institution, or eight (8) years of experience in facility services, hospitality management, plant operations, environmental services, laundry distribution, or related fields in lieu of a degree.
