Regency Senior Living is seeking an experienced and successful Executive Director for our Jackson, Tennessee community. This community has 74 beds, including Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods. As a privately owned company, we offer autonomy to our leaders tailored to each market, enabling quick decision-making and a focus on resident satisfaction and quality care over profits. POSITION SUMMARY:

Directs residence operations according to policies, procedures, mission, and philosophy. Leads and motivates staff to provide quality care and maintain high customer satisfaction.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Service:
  • Oversee resident safety and well-being, aligning with the residence's standards of care.
  • Represent the residence to the community, families, and visitors, fostering positive relationships.
  • Maintain open communication with residents and families through an open-door policy.
  • Communicate with families regarding service changes and lead resident/family conferences.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Participate actively in resident services.
General Management:
  • Implement residence policies and procedures.
  • Maintain high occupancy levels.
  • Assist in developing and operate within the residence's budget.
  • Support marketing efforts and develop relationships with local referral sources.
  • Prepare regular reports and maintain resident files.
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities on a rotational basis.
  • Make final decisions on resident move-ins and move-outs, prioritizing resident well-being.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least two years of management experience.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ongoing management training.
  • Desire to work with the senior population.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations for assisted living.
Hiring, Supervising, and Training:
  • Recruit, hire, supervise, and ensure adequate staffing.
  • Lead by example, promote teamwork, and provide ongoing coaching.
  • Motivate staff through recognition, training, and team-building.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and maintain employee files.
  • Foster an open-door policy for staff concerns.
  • Ensure proper handling of employee injuries and training documentation.
Regency Senior Living operates seven assisted living communities across Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee, all with memory care neighborhoods, and one 90-bed nursing facility.
