Job Purpose

This position will be responsible for all preparation and reporting of financial performance for the Dana facility in Humboldt, TN.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Financial Reporting and Control: Responsible for all financial reporting, tax packages, internal controls, and cost accounting.
  2. Financial Analysis and Reporting: Prepare all financial reports, trial balance forecasts, profit and expense statements, and other reports supporting cost control.
  3. Communication: Communicate with all department managers to complete daily, weekly, monthly, and year-end reports for operations and division management.
  4. Strategy and Improvement: Assist in strategy development to ensure financial integrity and push continuous improvement and best practices deployment throughout the operation.
  5. Financial Planning: Organize financial vision and strategies aligned with the overall strategic direction of the corporation and in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
  6. Risk Management: Maintain adequate risk management-based internal controls.
  7. Business Analysis: Provide analysis on trends, issues, and developments that could impact the operation.
  8. Planning: Prepare annual business plan.
  9. Additional Tasks: Complete other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications Desired

  1. Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting or finance role.
  3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  4. Strong analytical skills and aptitude for numbers.
  5. Proven problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  6. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; Hyperion experience preferred.
  8. Self-starter with minimal supervision.
  9. Ability to work extra hours when necessary.
