Are you an experienced full-time Electrical Service Technician looking for a new opportunity with a growing company? At Standard Air Conditioning in Knoxville, TN, we're committed to delivering top-notch service to our customers, and we want you to be part of our team of electricians!

WHAT'S THE SCOPE?

As an electrician, you'll earn $28 - $38/hour and have the chance to work on a variety of exciting projects, from troubleshooting and panel upgrades to lighting and outlet installation.

This is a full-time electrician position with a typical workweek of 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday. You'll start your day by reporting to a central location before heading to your job sites or service areas. Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends when needed is a plus!

YOUR ROLE AS AN ELECTRICAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN

As an Electrical Service Technician, your day will start at the central location, where you'll gather the tools and materials needed for the day's projects. You'll head out to various residential and commercial job sites, where you'll install and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, panels, outlets, switches, and lighting systems. Your expertise in panel upgrades will be put to the test as you troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions. You'll also perform preventive maintenance to ensure all systems are operating efficiently and safely. Throughout the day, you'll read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to ensure all work complies with local, state, and electrical codes and safety standards. As you collaborate with contractors and other tradespeople, you'll maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent.

WHAT'S REQUIRED TO BE OUR ELECTRICAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN?

• 4+ years of experience in electrical service, including panel upgrades, troubleshooting, and lighting and outlet installation in new construction
• Strong proficiency in electrical systems, wiring methods, and tools
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Solid understanding of electrical codes and safety practices
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and at various heights
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to different job sites
• Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends
