Job Summary

This Bench position will provide management support to new and existing SSC accounts in K-12 or higher education settings. Travel is required and can be significant, including overnights. Ideal candidates will be open to relocating outside of Atlanta, GA.

As a Director of Facilities, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling plant operations and building renovations in K-12 or higher education systems. This role requires full-service experience in custodial, grounds, maintenance, and construction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Review and evaluate existing programs, services, policies, and procedures.
2. Monitor work flow and quality to ensure timely completion and compliance with standards using computerized programs for maintenance, construction, financial management, and energy controls.
3. Prepare and lead departmental budgets, including utility and energy savings programs.
4. Provide guidance, training, and motivation to staff.
5. Maintain effective client relationships.
6. Monitor performance and conduct evaluations for personnel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience at the Director or Assistant Director level.
• Experience in construction management is preferred.
