Responsibilities

•Responsible for closing out and cashing out servers at the end of each shift
•Ensure that servers have completed all side work
•Running closing reports and making drops for your shift
•Acknowledge all customers warmly immediately upon arrival to ensure their first impression of the restaurant is positive
•Check the dining room constantly for cleanliness and organization and restock condiments on the table as necessary
•Respond to questions about the menu and memorize the daily specials whenever needed
•Handle booking of reservations, be quick to solve seating problems, and troubleshoot any phone inquiries from customers

Qualifications

•This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED and a good command of the English language
•Knowledge of the food and beverage industry and/or hospitality industry is appreciated but not a requirement
•Must have excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills, as well as the ability to deal with customer requests in a courteous, efficient, and timely manner
•Adapt easily to working in a fast-paced team environment with long hours of standing on feet and moving around
