Overview: We are looking for a dedicated Senior Solar Construction Manager to lead and oversee construction projects in the renewable energy sector from start to finish. You will play a vital role in meeting client requirements while ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

Location & Travel Details: This role will involve extensive travel across the US, contributing to renewable energy projects on site. Expect to be stationed at project locations for an average of 8-12 months. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will receive a designated daily per diem to assist with living expenses during projects, and a company vehicle along with a fuel card will be provided. Routine travel home will also be accommodated.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advocate for and ensure adherence to all safety policies and standards.
• Manage and direct all activities of the project team, fostering a positive work environment.
• Oversee construction teams, including other managers, ensuring coordination across trades.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with regulations and project specifications.
• Handle project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively, ensuring project milestones are met.
• Lead change order negotiations and adapt plans to optimize project outcomes.
• Facilitate communication between project teams, clients, and site management.
• Perform interviews, training, and evaluations for direct reports.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and reporting.
• Assume additional responsibilities as assigned, aligning with project needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of seven years in the construction industry with substantial knowledge of construction techniques and project management.
• Prior supervisory experience managing multiple trades on large-scale projects valued at $80M-100M+
• Experience with self-performed construction and leading large field teams.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read blueprints, understand construction plans, and apply basic algebra and geometry in calculations.
