Position Summary:An Endoscopy Technician provides support during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures that require the use of an endoscope, a medical instrument used to examine the internal organs and cavities of the GI system.The Technician assists with procedures, prepares equipment, and ensures patient safety during the examination.Prepare exam rooms and equipment for procedures, ensuring that all instruments are clean and sterile* Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures by providing instruments, changing equipment settings, and performing other tasks as required* Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after the procedure, and take appropriate action if necessary* Maintain accurate records of procedures and instrument usage* Clean and maintain equipment according to manufacturer and hospital guidelinesPosition Qualification:High School Diploma.Previous Lab expereince preferred.
