Job Details

Perform duties by giving care to patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics under the direct supervision of a physician. A variety of tasks, which require a considerable amount of organization, are included in patient care. This may include performing an EKG, patient work up, chart review and entering vital data either in a paper format or electronic format. JOB SPECIFICATIONS Education and/or experience: Prefer two or three years in a medical physicians office. Previous experience performing EKG s preferred. Must have experience with giving injections and immunizations. Must pass Pharmacology Proficiency exam or complete pharmacology course. Knowledge: General phlebotomy and basic clinical knowledge required. Skills: Good communication skills. Good organizational and time management skills are required.
