May answer telephone calls and route accordingly. Receives and records changes in patient information. Demonstrates familiarity with insurance procedures; demonstrates knowledge of which plan the provider(s) participate. Ensures procedures and corresponding diagnosis are properly recorded on the fee slip for charge entry.
