Fountain City Family Physicians, a division of Summit Medical Group, has an immediate opening for an has an immediate opening for a Medical Scribe. This is a Full-time opportunity. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (List does not include all duties assigned): 1) Enters orders into electronic medical record according to provider direction. 2) Transcribes records for physicians and /or physician extenders in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy using word-processing. 3) Checks documents for errors including quantities, dates, format, spelling, punctuation and grammar. Makes necessary corrections without changing the text meaning. 4) Maintains a workable knowledge of relevant software programs. 5) Maintains current knowledge of medical terminology and use of equipment. 6) Returns or distributes dictated information within the requested deadlines, and by the requested methods /formats. 7) Handles other front office sorting functions as needed. 8) Performs duties in a professional manner while ...Medical, Scribe, Healthcare
