Position Overview
The Aftermarket Sales Associate is responsible for the administration and placement of standard part orders made by customers through the Service Parts Department.
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Location: Knoxville, TN
Pay Range: Dependent on Experience | $70,000 - $103,000

Essential Duties:
- Analyzes the quote submittals of customers for repair and replacement of standardized parts.
- Ensures understanding of compliance of drawings, specifications and other customer requirements.
- Provides customer quotes as required to facilitate processing using standardized pricing.
- Works closely with both national and international distributor base.
- Interfaces with manufacturing support departments (Warehousing, Shipping and Receiving, Service, and Quality Control) to resolve delivery problems.
- Monitors the shipping forecasts of aftermarket parts to determine order status to achieve on-time delivery objectives.
- Interfaces with the Accounts Receivables departments of customers to discuss outstanding invoices and facilitates collection process when needed.
- Review orders for completeness, specifications, and accuracy of part numbers and prices.
- Regular contact with customers to clarify information when necessary.
- Responsible for entering orders and securing shipping.
- Reviews customer and shipping information to facilitate delivery.
- Inputs order information into parts ordering system.
- May assist with the processing of more complex parts orders under the direction of aftermarket sales manager or director.
- Other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.
- Prior sales and a customer service experience
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Able to work overtime as required
