The part-time Safety Specialist, under the supervision of the CEO, is responsible for developing and implementing optimal, cost- effective manufacturing safety processes and methods in accordance with OSHA and Omega Plastics safety standards for plastics manufacturing plants located in Knoxville, TN and Carrollton, TX. Recommends and implements safety improvements plant wide. Requirements DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Identify and interpret all applicable regulatory standards that impact operations and business activities and manage plans to ensure compliance to these standards - Creates, executes, and monitors the safety processes, management practices, and safety training to prevent all accidents in the workplace. - Creates, executes, and monitors environmental processes and management practices to meet all applicable regulatory and contract requirements.
