The Sourcing Associate will support the business strategy by developing and managing a supply base that delivers the best value, highest quality, and lowest total cost supply chain solutions. This role will play a critical part in securing sustainable competitive advantages and strengthening our reputation as a leader in quality and technology.
Some of the Responsibilities of the Sourcing Associate include:
· Support the deployment and execution of objectives and directives from the Sourcing Manager – Americas and/or Group EVP Supply Chain.
· Monitor supply market trends, identifying potential threats, opportunities, and technological advancements, and communicate relevant insights to internal stakeholders.
· Lead contract-related activities, including establishing new agreements and modifying existing ones in line with decision-making protocols.
· Manage the supplier nomination process and related contract agreements.
· Provide operational sourcing support to regional and global supply chain teams and ensure alignment with plant requirements.
· Partner with Material Planning and Supplier Quality teams to resolve supplier performance issues.
· Oversee commodity sourcing activities for new projects, ensuring timely execution.
· Drive initiatives to improve cost, lead time, quality, delivery performance, payment terms, and other supply conditions.
· Foster product and process innovation in collaboration with suppliers, Engineering, and Innovation teams.
· Align regional supply base development with corporate goals and strategies.
· Implement and maintain procedures, work instructions, and reporting systems to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and effective decision-making.
Some of the Requirements/Qualifications of the Sourcing Associate include:
· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or Business Administration.
· 5–7 years of sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience.
· Proven track record in supplier relationship management, cost reduction, and contract negotiation.
· Strong understanding of supply market dynamics and procurement best practices.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
· Ability to work in a cross-functional, global environment.
· Proficiency with procurement and ERP systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
