Job Overview:

APTIM's Energy Transition team is looking for a motivated and experienced highly skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer to join our growing portfolio of e-mobility, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and demand response programs across the country. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in developing, configuring, and customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions. As a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer , you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design efficient solutions tailored to meet those needs. The successful candidate will support strategy, product development and feature enhancement for the Energy Transition team's technology solutions, and related internal and client reporting needs. This position will report to the Development Operations Manager working directly with program teams across the nation. Location is flexible and can be hybrid office/telecommute will be needed for this role.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Develop and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications according to business requirements.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze functional requirements for system enhancements.

  • Design and implement solutions that improve system performance and user experiences within Dynamics 365.

  • Develop and maintain integrations between Dynamics 365 and other systems.

  • Conduct troubleshooting and debugging of issues related to Dynamics 365 applications.

  • Create detailed technical documentation for developed solutions and integrations.

  • Train and support end-users in utilizing Dynamics 365 functionalities effectively.

  • Stay informed about updates and new features of Dynamics 365 to ensure best practices are followed.

  • Understands relationships between work processes and the business.

  • All other duties as assigned.

  • Ensure compliance with all APTIM quality and safety policies as well as all OSHA regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

  • Must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience

  • Proven experience in developing solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment.

  • Must Have D365 Sales module with extensive knowledge in Power Pages and Power Automate Flow.

  • Strong proficiency in jQuery, JavaScript for UI development in Power pages.

  • Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, and JavaScript programming languages.

  • Knowledge of API development.

  • Experience with back-end services including best practices for data management, caching, and optimization.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform and Azure services is highly desirable.

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM customization and development.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex business needs.

  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.

  • Commitment to fostering a collaborative work environment within the team and the broader organization.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Power BI.

  • Ability to apply detailed knowledge of organizational procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a credible resource for a senior management team.

  • Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems and recommend solutions.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills and experience with client engagement and coordination.

  • Strong quantitative and analytic capabilities including report writing and spreadsheet analysis.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a collaborative team environment.

Desired/Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years' experience in the energy efficiency industry preferred.

  • Experience with system integrations and interfaces.

  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Customer Service platform.

  • Knowledge of data security and compliance regulations.

  • Certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365 or related fields.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range for this position is $115,000 to $125,000 per year. Compensation depends on several factors including: experience, education, key skills, geographic location of the position, client requirements, external market competitiveness, and internal equity among other employees within APTIM.
