Job Description
The Director, Compensation will develop and execute compensation strategies, including base pay, short and long-term incentives. Reporting to the VP, people operations, this role will manage a team that is responsible for the development and deployment of compensation solutions through analysis, tools, process and reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and administer the company's pay programs, including base salary, short-term incentives, long-term incentives and sales commissions
Lead market annual benchmarking to ensure pay is competitive both internally and externally. If any gaps are identified, recommended enhancements to salary structures
Partner cross functionally with senior business leaders on pay package recommendations that address business needs and attract, retain and motivate talent
Plan and execute the annual merit and bonus cycle
Develop content and educational materials to articulate our pay programs and support the rollout of new initiatives
Conduct regular and ad hoc analysis of market trends and internal pay equity to ensure compensation practices remain competitive and compliant with relevant regulations
Integrate compensation programs with performance management processes, ensuring alignment between pay and performance
Develop standard compensation processes and policies
Stay up to date with laws and regulations related to compensation and ensure that the organization's compensation programs comply with legal requirements and industry standards
Partner with HRIS on system upgrades, enhancements, and testing for the compensation processes and modules

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 10 years' experience in the compensation field
