Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Phlebotomy Technician located in Oak Ridge, TN. The Phlebotomy Technician will be responsible for performing venipuncture and collecting blood samples from patients, labeling and handling samples with care, and ensuring accurate documentation. Day-to-day tasks also include interacting with patients with professionalism and empathy, using medical terminology appropriately, and maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Venipuncture and Laboratory Skills
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Laboratory Medicine
• Strong Customer Service skills
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow strict safety and quality guidelines
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
• Certification in Phlebotomy and a high school diploma or equivalent
