Duties

• Perform legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.
• Draft a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Assist in preparing for and supporting attorneys during court proceedings.
• Provide legal support in workers' compensation cases and general civil defense matters.
• Collaborate with attorneys and other team members to strategize case approaches and representation.
• Produce clear and precise written communications for clients and legal entities.

Requirements

• Admission to the Tennessee Bar and in good standing.
• Prior litigation experience in general civil defense or workers' compensation law is preferred.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
