The Senior Project Controls Specialist leads project controls processes and consults with the Project Management Team to ensure client satisfaction.

+ Presents schedule and budget status reports to Project Management Team and client.

+ Validate proper set-up and management of the Enterprise Planning & Controls software.

+ Analyze data, logs, and reports in the Enterprise Planning & Controls software or other tools.

+ Validate proper Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is utilized.

+ Develop effective scheduling reports, cost reports, cash flow reports and forecasts for multiple projects.

+ Provide leadership and training to team members ensuring the resolution of difficult project control issues.

+ Develop and implement project execution plans.

+ Develop and maintain effective relationships with existing and potential clients, customers, and contractors.

+ Responsible for engineering, procurement, and construction planning, scheduling, logistics and cost control.

+ Validate the accuracy of cost management and forecast reporting.

+ Interface with the Project Management Team and Accounting Department to review project costs, contingency costs and support external audits.

+ Review upstream (prime contract) / downstream (purchase orders & subcontract) change orders.

+ Analyze cash flow reports.

+ Lead the Interactive Project Planning Meetings (IPPM) and development of project schedules.

+ Lead the presentation of Project Controls reporting.

+ Validate schedule progress.

+ Analyze and evaluate schedule management involving the critical path method of scheduling techniques, estimating, project cost management, forecasting and document control.

+ Perform schedule what-if scenarios.

+ Validate the accuracy of earned value management system reporting.

+ Analyze progress measurement.

+ Prepare and analyze progress curves.

+ Perform and review material takeoffs.

+ Identify and oversee the Risk Management process.

+ Perform quality checks and inspections on project controls deliverables.

+ Perform field audits to validate accuracy of reporting and processes.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

+ Complies with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field, and 7 years direct project controls experience required.

+ Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

+ Experience with critical path scheduling, project cost management, estimating and document control required.

+ Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 preferred.

+ Ability to facilitate and produce detailed construction schedules and interface those construction schedules with engineering and procurement activities preferred.

+ Excellent presentation skills.

+ Excellent attention to detail.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Excellent interpersonal skills.

+ Proficient with Microsoft Office.

+ OSHA 10-hour safety certification Ability to obtain.

This job posting will remain open a minimum of 72 hours and on an ongoing basis until filled.
