Job Description

A local hospital is seeking to expand its phlebotomy team, functioning as an integral part of the nursing team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform phlebotomy procedures

  • Conduct vital sign checks as needed

  • Assist with patient mobility in limited circumstances as needed

  • Stock supply closets during downtime

Schedule

  • Thursday-Saturday (3 12s) 7p-7:30a

  • Monday-Wednesday (3 12s) 7a-7:30p

Essential Skills

  • Proven phlebotomy experience

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Experience as a medical assistant

  • Phlebotomist certification or equivalent

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is a plus

Work Environment

The role is based in a lab/office setting within one of the leading hospitals in West Knoxville. Known as the "country club" of hospitals in the area, this facility specializes in elective procedures. The position offers a long-term contract with benefits including 40 hours of PTO in the first 9 months and 60 hours of PTO offered every 6 months.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Knoxville, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
