Position Title:

Lead Structural Engineer

Location:

Oak Ridge, TN

Duration:

4–5-month contract to start

This position is likely going to be long-term, but the funding is not solidified for the next portion of the contract. Highly likely the mission-critical work will continue through 2030 but cannot say with 100% confidence.

Compensation

Up to $65.00/hour - $97.26/hour + depending on education level and years of experience

Required Skills & Experience

• 15+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering and designing both structural steel and concrete foundations.
• Experience with pipe support and pipe design in industrial structures.

Job Description

This person will support the Lithium Processing Facility (LPF) project with ongoing design changes local to the Oak Ridge, TN area. Responsibilities include leading the design and analysis of pipe supports and related structural elements, ensuring compliance with project specifications. Daily tasks involve overseeing design teams, coordinating with other engineering disciplines, and providing field support during construction.
