Job Details

The Retail Intermediate Accountant will complete general ledger accounting functions and reconciliations required for the Retail division. They serve as a primary accounting interface for Home Center locations as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Assists with all accounting related to the Retail Close schedule, monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes including financials, related financial analysis, and reporting
• Involved in process improvements, various reconciliations, allocations, and accruals
• Tracks costs and conducts variance analysis
• Conducts expense reporting and account reconciliation
• Maintain various accounting projects while continuing regular duties
• Performs other duties as assigned

Compensation:

As an Intermediate Accountant with Clayton Homes, you will be receiving a salary wage ranging from $66,000.00 - $83,000.00 depending on experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 3-4 years' experience in Accounting or related field
• Must have great communication skills as there is extensive communication with various levels of personnel and management
• Must have excellent computer skills with specific proficiency in Excel and database management applications
• Must be committed, detail-oriented, motivated, flexible, analytical, and resourceful
• Must be a team player with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
