Job Summary:
In this role, you will perform routine cost estimating, planning, scheduling, performance analysis, and work control activities and support the implementation of cost monitoring and control standards, preparation of cost data, and the project trend program. You will assist with budget allocation and developing quantity takeoffs, project codes, and application unit rates. Your work will help ensure projects stay on budget and excel. We currently have multiple Project Controls Engineer positions available on our Nuclear, Security & Environmental projects across a variety of construction disciplines, including civil/structural, piping, mechanical and electrical. Potential project locations include Oak Ridge, TN; Richland, WA; Cape Canaveral, FL; Knoxville, TN and Reston, VA. Major Responsibilities:
The following duties may be performed with respect to cost analysis and control activities:
* Assists in developing and implementing requirements for cost recording, cost coding, reporting, and analyzing standards, programs, and reports.
* Provides performance monitoring and control functions for specific scopes of work.
* Performs cost data analysis and development.
* Coordinates quantity estimates for trends/baseline change proposals.
* Assists in developing specific project control accounts and recommends appropriate modifications and revisions. This includes assisting others in the proper use and definitions for the cost accounts.
The following duties may be performed with respect to scheduling activities:
*
