Tire Technician

A Tire Technician is responsible for the dismounting, mounting and balancing of all tires sold. The Tire Technician will also be required to install custom tire and wheel packages. Job qualifications include prior knowledge of tire related equipment and tools and a valid driver's license. Education requirements are a high school diploma or equivalent. Essential job functions include properly securing vehicles to lift to ensure safe operation, properly dismounting and remounting tires and wheels securely on vehicles, operating all related equipment and tools as trained, and performing and demonstrating customer service satisfaction. Safety requirements include performing all safety related items as per the employee safety manual, learning and maintaining all lifting procedures, learning and maintaining all general housekeeping, and reporting all accidents and incidents immediately upon them taking place to your direct supervisor. Weight requirements include lifting a minimum of forty-five (45) pounds and performing repeated and repetitive movement consistent within the tire industry. Other duties can and will arise and you should be prepared to take on these challenges openly.
