Maintains operational reports and records and collects statistical data for administrative and regulatory purposes. Assists with coordination and reporting of nursing activities performed on behalf of the patient. Establishes and maintains communication between the nursing unit, medical staff and ancillary departments for the purposes of problem solving and quality improvement.
