Phlebotomist Job Posting

A local hospital is seeking to build out a phlebotomy team that will work as an integral extension of the nursing team. Responsibilities include performing phlebotomy procedures, conducting vital sign checks as needed, assisting with patient mobility in limited circumstances as needed, and stocking supply closets during downtime. Essential skills include experience in phlebotomy verified by references, strong customer service skills, and medical assistant experience. Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is a plus. The role is based in a lab setting within a leading hospital in West Knoxville, known for its specialization in elective procedures and colloquially referred to as the 'country club' of hospitals in the area. This position offers a long-term contract, collaborating closely with hospital administration. Enjoy 40 hours of PTO in the first 9 months and 60 hours of PTO offered every 6 months.

Schedule options include the 1st & 3rd shifts. The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
