Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced warehouse worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for obtaining and processing product orders, maintaining the stockroom, scheduling shipments, and handling inventory issues. This role requires proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks, as well as strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Location:Warehouse Associate El Paso, TX300 Revere St. Suite AEl Paso TX, 79905Pay 21.27Schedule is Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm with Some Overtime on Saturday'sA Day In The LifeObtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries, registering them, and distributing packages and letters within the company.Maintain the company stockroom through organizing, cleaning, and cataloging items on a regular basis.Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and staff on hand to manage the shipments.Keep files of goods shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for managers.Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling.Ensure adherence to environmental management and systems.Troubleshoot shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them.Place merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by packaging, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large goods.Operate forklifts to move and organize large goods within the warehouse or storage facility.Experience Requirements:Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts, preferably in a warehouse or industrial settingPractical skills and judgment to safely operate the equipment under various conditionsWhat will help you thrive in this role?Educational Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentValid driver's licenseSkills Required:Inventory Management: Ability to organize and control stock levels efficientlyForklift Operation: Proficiency in maneuvering forklifts to lift, move, and stack materialsAttention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in order processing and inventory managementTeamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other staff membersProblem-Solving: Capability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in shipping and inventory handlingSafety Compliance: Knowledge of safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuriesHubbell IncorporatedHubbell creates critical infrastructure solutions that power our customers, communities, people and the planet.
