Marketing Prompt Engineer

As a Marketing Prompt Engineer, you'll work at the intersection of sales, innovation, and content creationdesigning and enhancing GenAI prompts to communicate compelling and effective solutions, articulate Aptive value propositions, and stimulate Aptive brand awareness, education, and customer buying behavior. The MPE partners with technical and customer domain SMEs to lead marketing and solutioning activities, resulting in differentiated, well-articulated content that addresses customer requirements and pain points. The MPE brings knowledge of the healthcare sector, VA/VHA, HHS, and the ability to apply critical thinking across an opportunity lifecycleengaging customers to understand requirements, translating business and technical requirements to realistic and innovative solutions, articulating value propositions, and conceptualizing and developing creative approaches to meeting customer outcomes and objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and shape marketing opportunities

Craft and optimize prompts for large language models (LLMs) like GPT, Gemini, etc., ensuring precision, context, and bias mitigation.

Test prompt variations, evaluate outputs, and iterate to improve performance in metrics such as accuracy, relevance, and safety.

Embed domain-specific context (government, healthcare) into prompts for tailored business solutions.

Document prompting techniques and build reusable "PromptOps" workflows or libraries.

Monitor ethical and secure use of LLMs; work with teams to mitigate prompt injection, hallucinations, or bias concerns.

Create content for white papers, proposals, and briefings demonstrating the thought leadership capabilities of the organization, as well as supporting various marketing and business development efforts through customer interaction.

Minimum Qualifications

Skilled communicator with strong written clarity and creative problem-solving.

Understanding of LLM mechanicstokenization, context windows, bias, optimizationnot necessarily deep ML engineering.

Experience with prompt design, RAG workflows, or prompt optimization strategies.

Background in Marketing, Sales, Proposals.

Demonstrated experience in one or more health functional areas.

Ability to work remotely with minimal guidance.

Exceptional written/oral communication skills.
