About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President and General Manager for its Business Unit Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the business unit team, with a focus on long-term growth, operational and financial performance, and the development of performance and quality standards. This role requires a leader with a high degree of commercial and financial acumen, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a proven track record in operational excellence. The VP and GM will be expected to enhance and execute the site strategy, ensure the achievement of operational and financial goals, and lead continuous improvement and cost efficiency projects.

Core competencies for this position include business development, innovation, entrepreneurship, and the ability to manage vision and purpose. The role also demands a leader with a strong customer focus, the ability to motivate and build effective teams, and a commitment to driving results. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in an operational leadership role, with a background in aerospace MRO considered a strong asset. The role requires a leader with a proven record in change management, operational excellence, and continuous improvement, as well as strong leadership skills centered on a participative and transparent communication style.
