We are seeking a skilled Painter to work in an industrial setting, specifically focusing on painting conveyors within a facility. This role requires physical agility as it involves bending, kneeling, and maneuvering around equipment to achieve optimal painting results using brush and roll techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Paint conveyors in an industrial UPS facility using brush and roll techniques.
  • Prepare surfaces and materials for painting, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Work around equipment, including bending and kneeling, to access all areas needing paint.
  • Use ladders safely to reach heights of 6-8 feet.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven painting experience, preferably in residential or industrial settings.
  • Familiarity with industrial painting processes and paint preparation.
  • OSHA 10 certification is required, with the opportunity for the client to cover costs if not already obtained.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience with residential house painting, both indoor and outdoor, is preferred.
  • Ability to safely use ladders and work comfortably at heights.

Work Environment:

Work hours are from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with potential Saturday shifts. The project is expected to last 2 months. The environment requires wearing steel toe boots and involves physical activity such as bending and climbing ladders. Lunch breaks are 30 minutes, with two additional 10-minute breaks.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract position based out of Knoxville, TN. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
