Job Title: Procurement EngineerLocation: Oak Ridge, TennesseeType: Direct HireContractor Work Model: OnsiteSystem One is seeking a Procurement Engineer to support our customer in developing Commercial Grade Dedication (CGD) and Equipment Qualification (EQ) plans. This role will focus on procurement engineering, process improvement, and technical support within a nuclear and startup-style environment.Responsibilities:Develop and execute CGD and EQ plans in accordance with industry standardsLead sourcing and procurement of materials, equipment, and contractor servicesDevelop and approve procedures in compliance with NRC and DOE requirementsCollaborate with engineering, quality, and facility teams to ensure compliance and efficiencySupport process improvement and reverse engineering initiativesEnsure technical accuracy and documentation for procurement deliverablesRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)Experience in nuclear, facility, environmental, or quality engineering preferredKnowledge of electronics/electrical systems a plusStrong communication and teamwork skillsProficiency in Microsoft OfficePersonal Attributes:Accountable and detail-orientedStrong communication and collaboration skillsAble to work independently and in cross-functional teamsAdaptable and driven in a fast-paced environmentWorking Conditions:Moderate physical activity (handling up to 40 lbs, standing/walking for extended periods)Some exposure to typical industrial or lab environmentsSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
