Financial Accounting Analyst

Fantastic West Knoxville Company is seeking a Financial Accounting Analyst. Salary: $70,000-$75,000 Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision

Full-time Analyst position with financial and accounting emphasis. Responsibilities:

• Participate in month-end closing activities
• Assist in all balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Create and maintain additional accounting reports and dashboards for management as needed
• Assist in inventory management
• Maintain fixed asset files
• Assist with state F&E tax, business license, and sales tax filing and procedures
• Analyze current procedures and recommend changes to develop and implement best practice accounting and reporting procedures
• Conduct in-depth analysis in all aspects of the business to help identify trends and informed decision making
• Special Projects as it relates to analysis and reporting in accounting, sales, inventory cost, production labor, etc
• Able to navigate different reporting portals needed for month end closing and dashboard reporting needs
• Inventory management assistance
• Assist State F&E, sales tax, and business license management through state website portals

Requirements:

• 3-5 Years in accounting with upward momentum
• QuickBooks Online proficiency
• Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge
• General understanding of bill.com
• Critical and analytical thinker
• Strong attention to detail
• Good problem solver
• Must be highly organized and able to prioritize
• Must be a self-starter
• Adaptable to changing environment
