Position: Software Engineer II

Location: Houston, TX Hybrid

Must Haves

• 4+ years of experience
• Associates degree or higher in Engineering/Science or related experience
• Effective communication with multiple teams
• Experience with .NET development (.NET Core/.NET 5.0+)
• Experience with Python development
• Experience with AWS functions (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, etc.)
• Ability to visit the office 2 days a week
• Strong understanding of Software Engineering terminology

Position Overview

This role supports applications, processes, data, and reports for the company, guests, and vendors; develops fixes, features, and enhancements for new and existing applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refactor code using .NET/.NET Core
• Participate in high?level development, design, and mentoring
• Collaborate in Agile stand?ups
• Build automation pipelines using Python
• Develop system integrations using Python
• Maintain existing code base using .NET
• Develop APIs using AWS Gateway
• Develop and implement technology development plans, policies, and procedures
• Meet with leadership and management for performance reviews
• Assist with AWS cloud migration (on?prem SQL ? serverless database)
• Work with new technologies: .NET Core, .NET 5.0+, Python, APIs, AWS, SQL
