Description:

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage with customers, and drive solutions that make a real impact. Engaging directly with customers, via calls or on-site visits, to deliver tailored technical presentations, prepare informational materials, and provide comprehensive support aimed at identifying and implementing effective business solutions. This role requires deep knowledge ofOn-Load Tap Changers (OLTCs)andBushingsare considered complex and critical components:

OLTCs: Regulate transformer output voltage under load by switching taps without interrupting service. They involve intricate mechanical and electrical systems and are essential for maintaining voltage stability.

Bushings: Provide insulated pathways for electrical conductors to pass through grounded transformer enclosures. Designed to withstand high electrical stress and environmental conditions, they are vital for safe and efficient transformer operation.

Travel: 30%-50%

How You'll Make an Impact

Collaborate with product management and business development to define application strategies

Support sales teams with technical expertise and training

Provide consulting services to production operations

Develop and promote effective equipment and methods for transformer components

Lead complex engineering assignments using advanced techniques

Innovate to improve customer satisfaction and product acceptance

Coordinate testing, manufacturing, and installation processes

Serve as a technical liaison for internal and external stakeholders

Core Responsibilities

Technical Solution Development: Designing and proposing custom solutions based on customer specifications, often involving automation systems, energy products, or IT infrastructure.

Customer Interaction: Collaborating with clients to understand their needs, present solutions, and provide technical support.

Sales & Marketing Support: Assisting sales teams with technical documentation, product demonstrations, and go-to-market strategies.

Documentation & Analysis: Creating white papers, technical comparisons, and risk assessments to support proposals and product development.

Project Coordination: Managing quote packages, delivery schedules, and internal reviews to ensure alignment with customer expectations.

Your Background

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related field)

Minimum 5 years of experience in transformer components or related engineering field

Strong understanding of design, manufacturing, and testing processes

Proven ability to manage complex technical projects

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Experience with customer-facing technical support is a plus
