Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union is a not-for-profit, Member-owned, and locally operated financial institution serving the financial needs of its communities of Membership. JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing the existing suite of Power BI reports and dashboards. Leverage expertise in DAX, data modeling, SQL, and Microsoft Fabric to ensure business users have timely, accurate, and actionable insights. This role requires a strong foundation in database management systems and hands-on experience managing complex BI solutions. Collaborate closely with stakeholders across data analytics, commercial, and finance teams to continuously improve report performance and ensure reporting infrastructure aligns with business needs.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative

• Work closely with stakeholders to design and implement user-friendly reporting solutions.
• Prepare and maintain application design documents which translate business requirements into viable solutions.
• Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate business needs into data solutions.
• Provide training and best practices to end-users to better understand the data available and to leverage Power BI and self-service analytics.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills through yearly training and skills maintenance.

Technical

• Perform all tasks necessary to ensure assigned projects are implemented in accordance with generally accepted best practices and security standards.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Implement data storage solutions using Microsoft OneLake, and Data Warehouses to optimize performance and accessibility.
• Develop and maintain semantic data models, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security.
• Build and optimize Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business intelligence needs.
• Monitor and administer Fabric Capacity Metrics to optimize data infrastructure performance.
• Maintain data quality and integrity, ensuring complianc with organizational and industry standards.
• Continuously improving data processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency.
• Implement security and other governance measures in Power BI.
• Leverage Microsoft Purview for data governance and metadata management.

Information Security

• Conduct regularly scheduled code reviews and ensure all work adheres to the Credit Unions best practices for security and performance.
• Operationalize data governance frameworks to enforce policies, access controls, and regulatory compliance (NCUA, FFIEC, etc.).

Personal

• Follow all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Represent the Credit Union in a professional manner (including but not limited to appearance, behavior, and performance).
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work cooperatively with others.
• All other duties as assigned.
