The Coordinator will design, cultivate, and implement initiatives that promote holistic student development with a view towards retention, graduation, and post-graduate success. The Coordinator will promote a better sense of belonging for all students by creating educational content, hosting events that promote student welfare and a sense of belonging, facilitate developmental opportunities, and engagement initiatives for at-risk and underrepresented students, manage and teach the College's Living Learning Community, oversee student clubs and organizations, and provide guidance for recruiting a diverse student body. The Coordinator will collaborate with personnel throughout the Deans' office, the Herbert College of Agriculture, the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture (UTIA), and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville to help establish a campus culture that continuously promotes awareness, respect, and inclusion.
