To provide maintenance/custodial support for campus as assigned.Essential Functions:70% Perform general building maintenance and repair involving carpentry, painting, plumbing, flooring, tile, electrical and cubical installation and break down. The maintenance worker supports the staff and faculty in the college by providing a clean, safe, and functional environment in which to work and learn.10% Move furniture and other equipment such as portable platforms, man-lift, pianos, and incubators. Assist Shipping/Receiving to deliver equipment and supplies to other campuses with 16' or 26' box truck. Assist Grounds in doing snow removal and applying ice melt chemical to sidewalks when needed. Assist EH&S Manager in removing bio-hazard waste and storing for proper disposal. Assist EH&S Manager in all campus emergency drills.10% Set-up tables and PSCC display on and off campus for special functions.10% Performs various custodial tasks.Note: The College reserves the right to change or reassign job duties, or combine positions at any time.Job Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D.
