Job Title: Tool Room Attendant (3rd shift: 8pm - 5am)

Position Responsibilities
The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position:
* Set-up of cutting tools for the machining lines following tool setup instructions written in English.
* Using Zoller presetter equipment to measure tool offset & runout.
* Receiving / Inventory of cutting tool components.
* Recording cutting tool data from kanban to database.
* Collecting used tools from the lines for reload & returning reloaded tooling back to lineside storage cabinets.
* Packaging and shipment of used tools to be sent out for reconditioning.
* Maintaining 3-pillar and 5-S standards of tool room area and lineside storage cabinets.
Required Skills and Abilities
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Ability to read and follow written instructions in English.
* Ability to perform basic computer operations.
* Experience with Microsoft Office, primarily Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
* Ability to understand metric measuring system, down to the micron level.
Beneficial Skills and Experience
* Knowledge of Microsoft Access.
* Experience with Zoller presetting equipment.
* Ability to read and understand 2-D drawings of tool assemblies.
* Experience disassembling, inspecting and reassembling cutting tools.
Education/Training/Certifications
* High school degree required.
* Some college, or Associates degree in technical field preferred.
Travel Requirements
* Travel requirement for this position is minimal, and basically for travel to training classes for this field.
