Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and warehousing industry, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be an essential part of the Fulfillment Department supporting the Fulfillment Team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: Knoxville, TN
Pay Range: $16.10
Shift: 1st Shift, 8:30am-5:30pm
What's the Job?
- Assist the Fulfillment Team with picking, packing, and shipping products to customers
- Operate machinery within the warehouse, including forklifts and scissor lifts, safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order completion
- Maintain safety rules and procedures throughout the shift
- Support production workflow processes and ensure quality standards are met
- Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse machinery
- Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends based on business needs
