Description
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for organization and a passion for ensuring
smooth operations? We're looking for a dedicated Wrapper to join our dynamic distribution
team. In this essential role, you'll be responsible for managing the wrapping process of textile
rolls for shipment, ensuring each roll is accurately weighed, ticketed, and prepared for
distribution. Your keen eye for detail will be crucial as you monitor the wrapping machine, scan
roll weights into the system, and palletize rolls as required. You'll ensure seamless logistics by
prepping pallets, wrapping them, and organizing them in the warehouse. If you're ready to

Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the wrapping machine to ensure rolls are wrapped efficiently and correctly.
- Accurately weigh each roll using an automatic weight system and input data into the system.
- Ticket each wrapped roll with necessary information, ensuring it includes instructions for warehouse placement or palletization.
- Prepare pallets by organizing and placing rolls according to ticket instructions, ensuring correct quantities are met.
- Scan and verify the identification of each roll to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Utilize computer scanners for entries and maintaining accurate records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Report any faulty equipment or unusual conditions to the supervisor.
- Generate and manage appropriate shipping documentation for outgoing pallets.
- Prioritize wrapping and palletizing tasks to meet production demands.
- Communicate effectively with relevant departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform other duties as directed by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English to interpret setup sheets, SOPs, and communicate effectively.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs independently; ability to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance or electric hoist.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or factory environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate powered equipment (forklift certification is a plus).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to work well with others in a team environment.
- A willingness to be cross trained in other areas as needed.
